We love to build web apps. Sometimes we release these just for fun, and other times they’re launched as a business in their own right. Below are some of our most recent apps.
Footprint – Business Collaboration for the Design Community
Footprint is our flagship product. It’s a collaboration tool for designers to help them run their business and communicate with clients more easily. We built it to scratch an itch we had in our own business, and have since modified it so that anybody can use it.
It’s been great for us because it’s removed the constant back and forth of emails between ourselves and our clients while working on a design, a logo, or a web site. If this is something that you find yourself doing a lot, then take a look at Footprint. It might make life a little easier for you.
TrackPath – Tracking Your Quotes and Proposals
TrackPath is our most recent app. It’s a very simple tool that lets you track your quotes and proposals. It measures their success rate and provides meaningful statistics to help you make better decisions so you can write more effective proposals in the future.
Building TrackPath took just 10 days from concept to launch. That’s something we’re very proud of. But we’re just getting started with this little app and we’ve got big plans for it. Please check it out at http://ontrackpath.com. We’d love to hear what you think.
Twission – Social Hashtags for Twitter
Twission is a simple extension of Twitter Search that shows the degrees of separation between you and the people in the results. It also has a smooth ajax auto refresh feature so when new content comes in, you see it straight away.
Essentially it’s a social add-on that makes the results from Twitter Search more meaningful to you. Short.ie – URL Shortening with Advanced Analytics
We released short.ie in partnership with our friends over at echolibre, another Dublin based web development business. The service provides a simple URL shortening tool, with a powerful analytics tool at its core.
Yes, there are other URL shortening services out there, but short.ie provides a better user experience and comprehensive analytics tools too.
Twitter Perch – Auto Follow 20 New People Per Day
Twitter is hot right now. And businesses are looking at ways to use it effectively. We launched Twitter Perch so that businesses and brands could track people on Twitter who talk about them. It’s a simple tool, but very useful too.
It’s open source. We released the source code for a couple of reasons. Mainly because we know some people aren’t comfortable handing over their Twitter password (which we totally understand), but also because it’s great to get feedback on the quality of the code we write.
